It all started when…
I was burnt out. I had worked at least two and usually four jobs at a time over the span of ten years and I felt like everything within me and around me was out of control. Eventually, I got help, transitioned to wearing only a few professional hats at a time and grew my private therapy practice while continuing to supervise, speak, and consult.
But the more people I worked with in therapy, the more I saw that professionals around me are burning out at a startling rate in their occupation/s. This meant after years of higher education, I saw high-achievers and professionals leaving their established professions, perhaps even jobs they love/d because everything felt out of control and they “just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Some seemed to struggle with stress and anxiety, but they didn’t always meet criteria for a diagnosis or were so burnt out that the thought of finding and working with a therapist was overwhelming in and of itself.
So that’s why I’m here, running a coaching practice to help stressed and burnt-out high-achievers change the way they relate to stress so they can have find their flow at work again, or perhaps for the first time.
I work with men and women who are burnt out from their careers, emotionally exhausted, and perhaps even questioning everything personally and professionally because they are overworked, perhaps even underpaid, and need to find a better way to work.
